Saft LS14500 3.6V AA Lithium Primary Battery

Saft LS14500 Batteries are unique high-powered batteries aimed solidly at industrial use. Although they are the exact same size as a standard AA battery, Saft LS14500 batteries have a nominal voltage of 3.6V.

These high energy density batteries use lithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCI2) which results in much higher capacity, a stable voltage through almost 100% of the battery’s life, and a self-discharge rate of less than 1% over prolonged storage periods. Furthermore, Saft Batteries operate effectively at extreme temperatures from -60°C up to +85°C.

Also often referred to as CR14500, these batteries are fully compliant with IEC60086-4 and IEC60079-11 safety standards and are non-restricted for transport under UN dangerous goods recommendations. This makes handling very convenient.

Saft LS14500 batteries are used in a wide variety of devices requiring long life between battery changes and these include; Utility Meters, Meter Readers, Alarms, Sensors, Security Devices, Tollgate Systems, Vehicle Tracking, Memory Back up and use in professional automotive devices for programming cars.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This AA battery is 3.6V which is a higher voltage than common household AA batteries. It is only to be in equipment designed for it and will damage equipment requiring regular voltage AA batteries. It is NOT RECHARGEABLE and attempting to do so is extremely dangerous.
